In 1934 Dwight Long was 21 years old. Sailed around the world in a 32-foot ship named IDLE HOUR. Set sail from Seattle Sept 20, 1934. Returned to Seattle six years later. Encountered two hurricanes; lost his dog at sea. 'Photographed on the earliest color movie film, the scenic shots have a soft, surrealistic appearance that complements the exotic images of a time gone by.' ONSITE REFERENCE ONLY.
