NHF cataloguer's notes (reel number is NHF-assigned): Reel 3: A resort hotel with golf course. Shot of 'Old Man of the Mountain' at Crawford Notch, NH similar to that in Reel 1. Vacationing in NH. A garden at home. Large resort hotel. Family groups. Shriners Parade. Four door cabriolet letting out a 'VIP' (dignitary), car appears to be a 1930-1931 model. Schooner (could be the 'Bowdoin' now at Maine Marine Academy). Navy 'brass' (officers) and an important civilian on a reviewing stand. A large seaside resort hotel of a style common to U.S. east coast. A reception for the dignitary. A regatta with two navy whaleboats and many spectator vessels. (possibly Newport, RI). Breeches buoy life saving equipment demonstration. American Legion Parade. 1931 Cadillac lead car appears to have the same dignitary. Second lead car (open car) contains in back seat what appears to be General Pershing with other army officers. Forty & Eight French feight car with doughboys, part of American Legion parade. Miniature train (a dressed up truck) with Illinois Central painted on side. (possibly parade is in Chicago, which is headquarters for Illinois Central Railroad). Mountains. Lakes. Resort area.
