Oral History documentation: filmed interviews with storyteller/singer Wilmot MacDonald. ONSITE REFERENCE ONLY. Part 1: Interview outtake of Sandy Ives/NAFOH with Wilmot MacDonald, who comments about how different things were back then. He made $15 a day ('That was good'). Sings a song. Part 2: MacDonald speaking with group of people in Ives' Narrative class. Shot earlier in the day than Part 1. (silent). Part 3: MacDonald footage used in 18 April 1974 evening news story broadcast (anchorman on story is Don Carrigan). In [Wilmot MacDonald sings old lumbering songs], he reminisces about his personal life and woods life, his song writing and people he's known. Says he wrote a few songs, but today no one does, ends up singing a song. Also shown are several photographs of a large group of men in a winter setting, and a logging operation.
