Compiled reel including amateur footage of the 1941 Aerial Roundup at Scarboro Airport in Portland, Maine.
Reel opens on shot of print ad reading in part "Maine Air Men's Ass'n/Caldwell Post Drum Corp./1st Annual Aerial Roundup/Scarboro Airport/September 1st-2nd." Some aerial footage is overexposed. Scenes of parachutists jumping from planes overhead and landing in air field. Cut to ocean surf, crowded parking lot, dark skies. The latter part of the reel is made up of shots of readymade illustrated title cards, possibly from an amateur filmmakers' publication, including "Baby's First Birthday", "Baby's Bath", "Home Movie Presents", "Cine Wanderino", four different cards for "The End", "One Moment Please...To Change Reels", and "Reel Clippings."
