This is a silent A-roll of Stretching Out. // In excellent condition, but has several loose splices that need to be redone. // 'Filmed at the Very Special Arts Festival held in Pownal, Maine, 1981. An honest and revealing look at the artists and partcipants of this Festival for disabled and nondisabled children and adults. The film features the poetry of Spindleworks. Spindleworks is a sheltered [and creative] workshop for mentally retarded adults in Brunswick, Maine.' Begins with setting for the arts festival for the handicapped. Shows handicapped and retarded people participating in various games. Also shows same people involved in artistic projects.
