Short drama: 'The Knight of the Pines directed by Edgar Jones, photographed by Eugene French, distributed by Arrow Film Corp.' Studio dance hall sequences (Sewall Street) feature Augusta young people as extras, according to Kennebec Journal, April 5, 1920. Two men enter camp on snowshoes, Sam Murdock, Edgar Jones. Edgar Jones stirs pot...has conversation about 'Rissy Mayo' whom he'd like to marry. Announcement in paper that his sweetheart is going to marry another man. He grabs gun and sets off. Jones comforts mother. Tom Crogan, Ben Hendricks Jr. Rissy Mayo, Edna May -?. At the dance in log cabin Jones enters with gun. Jones goes to Tim's Place Saloon. The Game Warden, Carlton Brickert fights with Jones. Part II- Jones bashes Carl and leaves in canoe. Timber camp, two months later, Jones comes to find Crogan, who is sick. Jones drags him home in the snow. Warden comes to cabin where Crogan has to sleep. Jones turns himself in and collapses. Film is a 16 mm reduction print.
