President John F. Kennedy visits University of Maine, Orono campus. Shots of football stands full of people. JFK with Muskie and others, including Margaret Chase Smith. JFK arrives at Northeast Airlines via Air Force 1. After the national anthem, Gov. Reed officially welcomes the president (who is not visible), and introduces McIntire, Muskie, Smith. Kennedy exits Air Force 1, boards helicopter for flight to university.
