      Collection contains factual footage of an industrial workplace. Label on film can reads: "H.P. Hood & Sons, Waldoboro, Maine. New egg room January 1957 grand opening. 16 candlers (8 on each side)." Scenes include employees using egg candling equipment, inspecting and packaging eggs. Collection also contains undated home movies showing children at Boston Public Garden, the swan boat and children feeding birds in the park.
      John Meader discovered these films in an 8 mm. projector bought at a yard sale. H.P. Hood & Sons is a New England dairy company with headquarters in Boston.
