      Collection contains unedited interviews filmed for a video term paper "Television: Birth of the Video God in Bangor." Interviews with Richard Bronson, Margo Cobb and George Gonyar concern the challenges, excitement and humor of early live television, among other topics. Included are overviews of Bangor, Maine, television station history, and comments about changes in studio technology, programming and commercial advertising.
      Gerrick Rodrigues was a Bangor High School student when he completed these interviews for a video termpaper on TV in Bangor. Richard Bronson founded the Bronson Ad Company. Margo Cobb, vice president and general manager of WLBZ-TV, retired in 1994. George Gonyar, vice president and general manager of WABI-TV, also retired in 1994. WABI came on the air in January 1953, followed by WLBZ one year later.
