      The collection consists 2 reels of sound, 16 mm film, totaling approximately 4000 feet. These contain 'Watermen,' a documentary about Chesapeake Bay oyster fishermen, their families and working life.
      The film 'Watermen' was shot by Holly Fisher and Romas V. Slezas between 1966 and 1968. The film features Captain Arthur 'Daddy Art' Daniels, his family and oyster fishing crew, around the Chesapeake Bay. Capt. Daniels passed away in 2017. The film also includes the wider community of Deal Island, Maryland.
