McLaughlin Foundation Collection
Margaret and Charles Rahn of Denmark, Maine, are given a tour by Bernard McLaughlin in his garden on Memorial Day, 1988.
Bernard McLaughlin started his South Paris, Maine, garden in 1936 while working in a local grocery store. The garden contains a wide variety of plants, including wildflowers, lilacs, hostas, daylilies, astilbes, irises, phlox, sedum, cimicifugas, and sempervivums.
