      Collection contains [Vafiades--home movies] with family gatherings and leisure activities. Highlights of the collection include outings in a Chris Craft speedboat in the late 1940s, men in military uniforms participating in a Portland parade, and swimming at the family’s camp on a Phillips Lake at Lucerne-in-Maine.
      Gary Vafiades emigrated from Greece in 1920. He was a restaurateur in Maine for many years. The Chris Craft powerboat was a cherished possession.
