Westbrook School Department/PRIME Collection
1966 – 1971
Collection contains eighteen prints of New England educational and industrial titles. Several films in the Collection, such as "Blueberries for Sal" and "The Legend of Paul Bunyan," were made for children’s entertainment. Films with an arts and historical focus include "Lexington, Concord, and Independence," "Plymouth Colony: First Year," "Robert Frost’s New England," and "Winslow Homer in Maine." "New England Wilderness" captures wildlife in a remote area of Maine. These titles were available for loan in Maine schools. See also Keith Leavitt Collection
PRIME was a southern Maine resource center for educators and the Westbrook School Department continued the film distribution when the PRIME project was dismantled.
