      Collection contains programs of Maine humor performed by Marshall Dodge. "A Downeast Smile-In" and "A Fresh Breeze Downeast," were produced by Maine public television in 1970 and 1972 respectively. "A Downeast Smile-In" is introduced by Dodge, explaining the origin of the stories. "A Fresh Breeze Downeast," performed outdoors before an audience at Sonogee Garden in Bar Harbor, Maine, also features performances by folk singer Gordon Bok. The third title in this Collection, "Virgil Bliss," was produced in New York in 1980.
      Marshall Dodge (1935-1982) was a Maine humorist and popular storyteller who produced several series on Maine public television. Fred Dodge is his brother. "A Fresh Breeze Downeast" was produced in association with the Bar Harbor Festival.
