Collection contains factual works: approximately 120 hours of footage documenting a wide range of events surrounding the International Paper Company strike in Jay, which lasted seventeen months. Includes scenes of press conferences, picket lines and rallies, mass meetings, a "Strike Dance," workshops and public hearings, interviews and speeches.
Peter Kellman is a labor activist and educator living in North Berwick, Maine. He played an important role in organizing and developing the strategy for the Jay Strike in 1987-1988.
