The Julius Schreiber Collection includes 50 reels of 8mm film in both B&W and color. The footage includes infants and travel throughout New England as well as the far western U.S. and California during the years of the mid1930s to the mid-1960s. Shot primarily by Julius Schreiber, the films include scenes of family during vacations and family activities. There are occasions in Bar Harbor, Maine, Washington D.C., at the "Great Divide" in Rocky Mtn National Park, many national parks including the Grand Canyon, and Yellowstone National Park. There were trips to Muskegon College, and other Ohio location, and a tour of colleges including Swarthmore, Cornell, Amherst and Yale. There were also family gatherings for annual holidays.
