Collection contains three educational/cultural works. "Fence in the Water" (1980) concerns Maine fishermen in Penobscot Bay who use weirs and traditional fishing methods to harvest herring (Maine sardines), and includes singing ("Mrs. MacDonald's Lament"). "Live Lobster: Maine Lobsterman" (1976) shows the traditional methods of lobster fishing and includes a narrated history of this industry. "To Kayak" (1975) describes the history of kayaking, types of boats, paddles, safety equipment and kayaking techniques, and includes scenes of slalom and whitewater kayak racing.
Peg Dice was an independent Maine filmmaker and founder of Bodacious Films in Brunswick, Maine. Original footage is 16 mm. film.
