Biographical/Historical NotesRoberta Laverty was Executive Director of North Woods Arts Center in Dover-Foxcroft (Maine), which was dedicated to the research, teaching, and application of traditional north woods skills. The films in this collection were given to the Center. Moosehead Lake, the state's largest, covers 120 square miles. Great Northern Paper Company, now Bowater Incorporated, has its headquarters in Millinocket.
