    Collection contains home movies of family scenes, winter and summer activities, boating, fishing and mountain climbing. In particular, footage shows climbing on Mt. Katahdin, visit to Bath Iron Works, and scenes of the 1935-1936 floods in Topsham and Brunswick, Maine. Percy Baxter and other family members appear throughout.
    Mary Baxter White's uncle, Percival Baxter, was governor of Maine (1921-1923) and gave Baxter State Park to Maine. The park contains Mt. Katahdin, Maine's highest peak, and the northern end of the Appalachian Trail. Bath Iron Works, founded in 1886, is a major shipbuilding facility. Original footage is 16 mm. film.
